Good Luck, I've been eyeing a rack, I think a VW wagon or bus rack would work on our cars, but they are still 300+ bucks new and I am not positive it would work.
I bought one on eBay. Cost $50 for the rack and @ another 50 to ship from back east. It needs new raingutter straps and the cups should be replaced too. I polished up the aluminum, but the wood slats are still in nice shape. The guy i bought it from said his dad had purchased it in the early 60's for their new Plymouth or Chrysler wagon. It had been in their basement for the last 40 or so years.... It seems like I searched luggage rack or surf rack and just kinda weeded through the newer stuff.
