hi guys ,, how do i hook up a old school stuart warner amp gauge , i have original generator .. thanks

Fred.....In the good old days, when amp gauges were the trend, we spliced into the heavy red wire coming off the voltage regulator.

However, I would recommend you install a voltmeter vice an ampmeter....Too many amps going in and out of the cockpit, waiting to be shorted to ground and cause a fire.

A voltmeter will tell you all you need to know as well.

i was just wondering because the amp gauge is already in the dash matching other gauges .. may be ill leave well enough alone , beacause you have a good thought there ..thanks

Fred.....Look forward to seeing you at Somerset.....I have an old SW amp gauge kicking around as well......May just put it in and not hook it up to remind me of my good old days.
