The weather here in North Texas is great and it looks like summer has finally faded. This is my favorite time of year and when I'm most motivated to
make progress on my projects.

My plan was to tear into my projects and get a lot of work done on my '56, clean my '55 vert chassis, and work on my daughter's pedal car.

But..... I got sidelined because me, my wife, and 6 month old all got sick at the same time. :( Everybody's gonna be okay, just a little bummed.

It's also my 10 year wedding anniversary and we had to cancel our night out.

Guess I'll try again next weekend!!

Well, it's been raining cats and dogs here in South-East Queensland with floods.
We've had 200mm overnight (8 inches) on top of rain last week.

I had just pulled the starter motor, RH manifold, and clutch linkage out and had to rescue them from the garage floor at 4 AM :eek::eek: as water was lapping the garage!

But on the upside, I couldn't get to work due to flooding! So I've got time to take the starter motor over for a rebuild.

Presumably because summer is too hot to work on the cars?

Which is alien to us, here in the UK - summer is the time to get all that stuff done, although this year we had about 2 weeks of hot weather and then it just went, it is now getting cold, and wet and it is getting dark a lot earlier - 6pm at the moment - I hate this time of year.
