then, if eliminating the factory bell,[going with the scatter-shield], is the factory clutch linkage the same? i saw 3 different mounting brackets for the z-bar listed. [see previous post] thanx!!b you guys are the best.

on my55, im using a lakewood shattershield, and using the linkage, z bar and fork for a 57 chevy , and return spring too :anim_25:
and using steel flywheel<internally balance,> as 496 is internally balanced. Also using Zoom clutch psi plate and there kevlar disc, its there HP line.

As long as you have the bellhousing designed for the 55-57 Chevy...Everything will fit.

HD i'm using the same as Randy and Don on my55,a lakewood shattershield, 57 linkage, z bar and fork,return spring...works great on issues:tu
