I have 15" tires & wheels both front and rear on my 57 2dr.ht I also put 2"drop spindles up front and 2"drop leaf springs in back.My question is this what size tire & wheel combo can I get away with 16",17" etc.? I also left both the rear & front wheel wells stock.
Thank for any reply,Tony's last toy :gba: :shakehands: :flag6:

Yes you can run bigger wheels but maybe not bigger tires. Check for some 17's that you like and make sure the back space will work, then check the tire diameter and you can get almost the same size your running now. There are a lot of good tire calculators out there, and keep in mind that you will end up with a lower profile tire with bigger wheels.

I just switched to 17's on my 55 and run 255/50/17's in the rear and 225/50/17's in the front. These are mounted on 17x 7 front with a 4“ b/s and 17x8's with a 4.5 b/s. I also have 2“dropped springs in the front. Just do your homework and you will find something you and fits.
