I’ve been trying to sell of a ton of parts for over a year as a lot sale. Problem is it’s hard to know how much is really there without any kind of itemized list. I finally have a very small list, it was only one shelf and what’s on the list only covers the parts in one tote. I’ve got two totes packed. I’d really prefer selling everything to someone that might sell their own stuff on the side. With a 3 year old it will take forever to sell everything one or two at a time and take away from family time. I’m willing to negotiate a bit on price so that someone could buy and then sell for their own profit. My number is 541-499-5063. My name is Adam and I’m in southern Oregon. This list is just one of the totes and some pictures so you know the packages are good. Some stuff, maybe 5% not in original packaging.

nice stuff,and alot of it....but I cant imagine spending that much for it all , trying to peddle it a few pieces at a time , for me and many others...even you.....to much time involved for any profit made

not a downer at all. You guys are the ones that know this stuff. All I know is the wife is getting pissed that I’m spending every day off going through all of this stuff. Thought it would be the place to post and get honest feedback

When my dad passed, we had an attic, basement, garage, and shed to empty. Settled on $2800 for the whole lot. Only 2 people were interested. Also, I don't waste my time listing anything on Feebay for less than $50. Entirely too much work involved. Sad reality is that everybody wants Chinese garbage shipped to their door these days, not much of a market for high quality, low volume items.

My set up is spending a couple hours a day sifting through for like items and trying to catalog it. The wife is super thrilled… I’d probably be best off bringing several loads at a time to auction off or take to swap meets. But that’s still going to take a lot of time. To be honest I’d be happy to get like 4500

To be honest, it sounds like the auction route may be the best way for you to go.
They do all the marketing, deal with posting pictures & descriptions on line, collecting payment and shipping if needed, will reach a much wider audience and at the end of the auction, most likely everything will be sold for something.
Yes, you will take a hit on their fees, but you have cleared up the space in one swoop and not had to deal with the time and the hassles of dealing with people one part at a time or the not serious buyers that just talk...good luck.

Thanks for the insight. I’d definitely post it here. Crazy part is got 3, 27 gallon totes from that one shelf. Out of an 8,000 sq foot or so shop. Then the barn is next..

Honestly, I'd call a couple auction houses & get their appraisals & offers to market it.
You will be 20k in hand vs $20 & $50'd to death over 10 years.
