Hi everyone, finally getting around to making a list of parts I need to put a 700R4 in my '56 wagon. I used a previous post which was very helpful in gathering these parts. What I have thus far: cable geometry corrector, throttle valve cable and a bracket to fit everything. My question: I saw what is described as a Trans Dapt-part no. 8985 in Jegs-and I don't know what it is and if I need it. Could someone help me this please. Thanx, Carmine.

The Trans Dapt 8985 is a braided TV cable. If you have a cable, you won't need it.
