Wow! A beautiful, fall day in Ohio for the Bash this year!...70 derees and sunny! And, according to Jerry & Benny, more cars than they've ever had! The pork chop sandwiches, beans, ham, & cornbread, and the BBQ bologna sandwiches, were fantastic!
Here's a few of my pics :

I can tell you at least a few of those gassers, are new, not original vehicles.

I was raised up in the Southwestern Ohio (West Elkton & Beechwood) area and remember a lot of tri-fives in the area. My cousin use to put on the 55, 56 and 57 Chevy day (1971-4) at Houston Woods State park. First year close to a hundred tri chevies there. Later in the years Joe, Willis the Local Pinstriper and Jimmy( killer black 1956) helped and they moved over to the (1975-6) Lebanon area. Anyone remember?:bowtier: Great days then.......... bless them who build cars to drive and dream of old days too. New cars or old survivors who cares......... Love them all

I kinda dig that orange 55. Should'a took more pix of that...

...I tried! There were ALOT of cars this year, and they were packed in tight to each other...made picture taking difficult...the orange '55 was a pretty accurate period piece...Olds rear, magnesium Halibrand's & American's, Man-A-Fre 4x2 carb set-up...

I kind of remember some of our club members either talking about this event, or going to it.

I wonder if the Lebanon show turned in to the Gem City Classics show? Held at the middle school. Gem City used to pull in a few hundred '55/6/7 Chevies when they held it there. (Dayton, Cinci, Columbus, even a few from Indiana that I recall)

I sure do miss going to that car show.

5th annual BLACKTOP BASH - October 16th - Lewisburg, OH

Zhit. If I'd have known about the event, I'd have went.

Only thing I could find to go to that day was the Fun Run in Spencerville, OH.
