anyone know if backup lights were option on 1957 3100 deluxe cab not cameo? Mine is 235 3 in the tree. I found backup switch on Ebay not sure it fits 3 speed.

As far as I have always know, back up lights were only an option on 60-65 and becoming standard on 66. But I am not all knowing, so I might be wrong.

Back Up Lights

They now make these trick LED backups that fit in the bed side curl. I'm going to use them. They make them in red if you want to use them as blinkers, or white if you want to use them as backups.

Hi,

I was looking at the accessories manual for 1957 and it has instructions for the 3 speed and 4 speed. So it was an option in 57.

back up lights

Back up lights were an option in 58 59 fleetside trucks. Not offered in 57...hope this helps, Lee
