There is a guy wanting to sell a t-350 w/ OD from a 1972 corvette. I can't say as I am familiar with such a trans. Can I get some info on it? Is it a good choice for my 55 with 3.55 gears. How much is a rebuildable core worth? Thanks

There wasn't a factory option of any kind for an OD in a '72 Corvette.

Does it have a Gear Vendors aftermarket OD unit on it?

That would be a little bit harsh. And you would be wrong if it has a Gear Vendors unit on it.

I am not 100 % that Vette had TH350s in 72. I thought they were TH400. When I go to shop I will check my Hollander.
That would be correct if we were talking about a factory original transmission. Corvettes didn't come with TH350s until 1976.
