Just curious what most of the group here recommends for undercoating, I would like to get the under body coated before I drop it back on frame
You can...you have to scuff it with some scotchbrite after it cures, or, you can also buy their tintable Raptor which you mix in your color to the neutral Raptor liner. You can get it real close in color. Here is one of many videos. Can you paint body color over Raptor, like on outside slashs or inner fender wells?
It is as good as what you put it over. If you are down to the primer and got rid of the grease and old undercoating it should be good. Their application video shows scuffing the paint, using a metal etch on bare metal and then using a paint prep wax/degreaser before application. Like any paint, it does have to be prepped well. It is not like that rubberized you can spray over anything....and it is gone in a year.I bought their large truck bed kit for my 55. It came with 8 bottles.
