Bear with me guys as this is only my second posting. Not sure if it belongs in this section but here goes. My '57 210 2dr sedan has 15" by 7" ralley wheels all around. I like the ralleys altho the current tires are to small. 205/70/15's Question is, will a pair of 8" Corvette ralleys fit under a basic stock heighth 57' with a decent size tire, such as a 225/60/15. Have done nothing to the rear wheel wells as don't want to tub or roll the wheel well lips. Want to run 225/70/15's up front on the 7" ralleys. Currently not actually working on the '57 as trying to get my 35 x50 retirement shop built. Thanks to all who reply.

I couldn`t get a factory 8" rally to fit on my 57. It was too close to the quarter lip, and they are done rolled up. But i do have aftermarket 8" rally on the rear now. The aftermarket rally had a little more backspacing. I have 295-50x15s on it, although the 295 is very tight fit.

Want to run 225/70/15's up front on the 7" ralleys.
This will be no problem as that is what i am running on my 57.

I've also heard the 8" won't work on a stock rear, although I haven't tried it.
