Even Chilton printed manuals are junk, I've spotted many errors in them...

I have a VERY old Chilton for 64-71 cars, I may have bought it in 71 or shortly after. But I think they still sell it.

It has a lot of useful information, especially in the specifications sections, and the unit repair sections. Not that many errors, but many topics are very brief.

Since a lot of guys here have traditional but upgraded from 50s power trains, it would be useful to many here.

I think technology probably passed by Chilton in recent years.

But you know even the factory manuals are incomplete in some areas. I always like to have multiple sources for info.

I buy the old "Motors" brand repair manuals off of ebay. They are great. I used them when I was a teen some 50 years ago and loved them then as much as now. I don't know when they stopped making them, but they are great for older cars.
