I'm looking for opinions on weld through primer.
I'm ready to drop the body back on the floor and I'm removing all of the black coating from the floor where I will be welding but was thinking of using a weldable primer between the seams.
Has anyone here used any and if so did it cause problems with the welds?
Thanks, Brian

It works rather good but you must keep the paint thickness really thin.
Thick layer of paint will mess up the welds no matter how weldable it is.

I prefer not to use it. If you have lap joints with open seams, use some seam sealing caulk before painting.

Rick,
Why do you prefer not to use? Is it because it may comprise weld penetration? To much splatter?

I use Wurth weld through primer and it works good. Using seam sealer has downsides too, using both is the way to go.
