Yeah, the HAN Long Beach event is sort of a sticky subject around these parts. Lots of finger pointing by HAN and Reno/Sparks. The issue comes down to money. HAN has tried other events here that were less popular (winter events and the Lake Tahoe event) and so the thought was to expand to a venue that could stage a larger scale event in addition to the regular event. They keep assuring us that HAN will stay in Reno/Sparks, but who's to say. I hope it stays here, it is my favorite event around town. The rib cook off is second of course!
