Im going to pick up a new cap as my old one is pretty cruddy looking and was wondering which one to get. The current one in use is a 7psi. Its a stock 283,No air,No heater, and I added a aluminum radiator. Should I just stick with the 7psi or would I benefit from another psi?

If you just doing it to put a clean cap on, stick with 7. A cap rated at higher psi could cause leaks elsewhere in the system... Stick with 7!

You could blow something else out. Ask me how I know. I replaced my "ok" 7 lb cap with a 10 lb, and blew a good heater core. I know you said you don't have a heater, but you could cause a leak elsewhere.
