I actually didn’t have tinnitus until I had my neck fusion surgery. Spent 8 years in artillery and infantry and have hearing loss, but the high pitch ringing didn’t start until January.

Yeah, mine only started about 6 months ago. I'm due for a hearing test at work in about two weeks. That should be fun...

Ugh. My tinnitus has been very bad recently. The other day listening to a tube amp I rebuilt, I couldn't tell if it sounded good or not. It looked good on the scope with a square wave, but I like to listen to actual music to fully test them. It never goes away, just gets better or worse.

I like classical music also, especially when I'm driving by myself. Unfortunately my wife doesn't like it so I don't often get to listen to it..

So do I. It can be very soothing. I think a lot of people dismiss it without really trying it out.
