Greetings! We have a 55 Nomad inbound that's essentially stock and currently wearing 6/70-15's on stock steel wheels, and want to change these out to a set of Centerline AutoDrag wheels, preferably 17" or 18" wheels but no larger, as we want to retain a larger sidewall for a more classic look and a smoother ride.

My question is what is the widest wheel/tire size we can run with stock suspension and brakes, and what wheel offset should I choose? Centerline will basically build the wheels to order, and I want to keep all four wheels the same size for convenience.

I was leaning towards 18" wheels to get a better selection on tires, but 17's offer more sidewall so I don't want to rule anything out.

Any help is appreciated.
