At limestone Maine , Loring Air Force Base ,with 42 days to go. Had my 56 Chevy ready to head for California. Had just gotten married. Still driving a 56 Chevy but a different one.
Was 1 year old, but believe it or not when I first seen that movie that is when I fell in love with 55 Chevy's. It was always a dream and I loved that black 55, well in 1996 I was able to have that dream come true. Wanted my car black like the movie but my buddy refused to paint it black, guess he didn't want to block that car for weeks to get it where the black would be perfect. :sign0020:, so that is when I decided to go with my next choice, purple and white and that is the she stands today.
Drag racing on the Great Highway SF, CA & Half Moon Bay Drag Strip with my first '57 150. Living the American Graffiti life hanging out at Mel's, Ott's, King's & Nikkie's Drive In's. Remember roller skating car hops?
I was not even a gleam in my dads eyes yet :sign0020: not until 67 was i born, but still love the movie, i need to go purchase it so i have my own copy :tu
