OK, I'm building a Gasser. Disc brakes on the front, drum rear. I'm thinking I'll skip the power booster as I don't think the motor will provide enough vacuum.
Can anyone recommend a master cylinder? I'd like to be able to just get one at the parts store.
Also, I (think I) know that some masters have residual pressure valves built in and with others I will need to add them. If anyone can give me some insite on what all I'll need, that would be great.
Thanks!

Your master cylinder needs to match your front calipers, so we need to know that before making a correct recommendation.

You need residual valves in drum brake lines, and not in disc brake lines - a 10 psi one. The exception to that is when the master cylinder is below the calipers or wheel cylinders (mounted under the floor). That requires a weaker residual valve, a 2 psi one.

It's the kit from Speedway. I called them and they told me to use a 1" bore. Does that help? Master will be mounted on the firewall.
Thanks!
