Joined mid Atlantic nomad club in 70 and found out about NNC there so joined that also and went toy Troy Mi the next year with mid Atlantic club. Still have an old NBC members book.
I'm sure I still have my old Members book somewhere in storage. I still have all the Magazines stored away somewhere as well. I even got the past issues that I missed before I joined. I believe they were just a simple 4-Page issue in just Black and White print.
I remember the old "Super Chevy" club. We belonged to the Chattanooga group until it desolved into something else .....:tu

I was a member dating to 1974 when I purchased my first Nomad (a '55), and have been a member continuously since (first NNC and later the CNA).. and now I have 4 Nomads.
PS. The latest issue of the CNA 'Nomad Post' noted the latest members with the latest member shown as #5063! For around 20,000 Nomads built 60 yrs ago, that would indicate a lot of them are still around, especially given that quite a few member have more than one (like myself).
Jim : Walt Wombaugh from Neptune, N.J. He and Brenda still have their Harvest Gold/Ivory 55 Nomad. I believe Sept will mark 50 years of ownership. Was driven to Colorado for the first NNC convention.
My first was Troy, MI. in 72, just about when the pic in my avitar was taken
I believe that was when your breaks failed and you almost ran into my nomad. Hey Jay, how long have you owned your nomad in question?
Mine has or will be 53 years this July.
Oh yeah, those good old factory power brakes, back when no one could rebuild them. Drove it almost 700 miles home with about 1/2 inch of pedal .. Bought it in 1971 and it will still be here when I go.
Good to hear. Bought mine in 66 and have arranged for mine to take me on my last ride to my grave in hopefully another 25 years or sooner. It’s up to my lord.
