Good for you to get out while you could..... :tuwhen i was in my 20s i use to be a industrial painter one summer i took a job painting hi tension towerssome of them was 375 ft tall with 500.000 volts running through the power lines [cars on the ground looked about a inch long ] these things move up to 6/8 inches in the wind and we used lead base paint
. that much current can jump 5 ft we were told by tva workers . i done that for 2 months and a young man fell from half way and died instantly that was when i realised 25 $ a hr. wasnt all that much money

Maybe you were $245,000. smarterI once bid a job to refinish a copper roof 42 stories in the air, there was an 18" platform to stand on and nothing to tie off to. I bid it at $475,000. I later saw it had been done and found out a guy did it for $230,000, I guess his life was only worth only about half as much as mine. That or I was $245,000 more scared than he was.
