Hi All,

I have a 265 engine to install in my 55 nomad but I'm looking for a 265 4 barrel intake manifold and carburetor setup if anyone has one.
Cheers!!

Hi Jay,

Thanks for the reply.
I've got an air cleaner already but I'm definitely interested in the intake and a carby. I'll see what I can find out regarding carby numbers and let you know.
Cheers mate!!

There were two carbs used in 1955. The bell crank carb (2218s) is correct for cars built up to the middle of May 1955, The non-bell crank carb (2351S) is correct for later production. Here are pics with the casting numbers.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for the help Ernie.

I've discovered that my nomad was built in Oakland, CA sometime in May '55 so I suppose it won't matter which carby I get. Will have to take what I can get I think.

Cheers mate!!
