No expert nor claim to be but don't believe there is an actual bell housing when using the power glide transmission with either a V8 or Inline 6 for the tri-fives. Both engines used an adapter to mate the engine to the transmission. This combo up thru 1961 I'm thinking. Each engine be it a V8 or Inline 6 used their own unique adapter. If someone cares to chime in on this with more knowledge than I have their most welcome. Good luck to your project and build.
I do have a V8 engine / transmission adapter for the power glide listed in the parts for sale section but is not the correct date code you seek. Small point unless building a Barrett/Jackson restoration.
All of my parts except the transmission and radiator are original matching numbers, down to the cast dates as it came down the production line. Even the windows, so im not building a restoration of any sort but would like it to be as originalas possible.
Noted on the adapter plate. But in the parts book they are all referred to as a housing. I shall now refer to the part as an adapter housing.
Good luck in your search Tony, hope you find the part your needing. Just threw in my P/G adapter as option in case you have no luck finding the part needed. Chasing correct dated parts in that age bracket can be a real challenge.
