My nomad was originally equipped with a treadle vac master cylinder. What I need to know is if this bracket that it bolts that it bolts to that bolts the fire wall, does that need to be removed to use a booster upgrade from Danchuk or cpp etc?

I started taking it off then thought I would ask the experts....

Bracket in question

Don,

This great stuff. So, You took the the pieces that came with the upgrade kit and welded them to the stock bracket, correct? This means that the part that the treadle vac booster bolts to will have to be cut from the part that bolts to the firewall.

i shortened the after market booster bracket... welded to stock 55 p/b bracket... didnt cut or do any modification to stock bracket.( u probably could cut and modify stock bracket),, i didnt because i didnt want to cut around new paint, windows,, etc remember my car was together.( i did this in place!!). ... if u want, u could shorten and modify the bought bracket to bolt to the stock 4 holes in the 55 bracket ..if u want to go that far. i forget , but i think i bolted booster rod to bellcrank and that gave me the measuremet to cut mount.. or i might of shortened rod??.. if need b i can go out and look under dash... right now its pourin out , so it will have to be later
