Last weekend I drove down and hooked up with Steve aka: sdn1955 and picked up a narrowed frame for my 55. It was great meeting another Tri-Five member and seeing his projects too. It's a California frame with no rust and no damage to speak of. Great guy to do business with. :shakehands:

Frame still on trailer after arriving home before unloading.

Now I just have to figure out the rearend and suspension part. :sign0020:

Just for information sake, it isn`t just a california frame. The one piece frame came from several difference states, depending on the manufacturer used by the assembly plant.

Wow, that frame is in along way! My frame is narrowed by the width of the rails, yours is at least double that. I have 15 x 12" rear wheels with the original leaf spring set up on the outside of the rails. Even if you reinstalled the spring hangers in the original location l could see a pair of 15 x 15" going under there without a problem.
