i have had alot of people try to convince me that the nomad will take lots of time and money, trying to convince me that its not worth it.
but yes its always been a "project" or investment to me, so i just brush off the comments like that.
i dont rely on the car so i can take as long as i need.

i am hoping to see everyone at the BBQ, and your wife sounds like a keeper for sure :tu
Garin, since I'm tagging along with Rick I'll take the opportunity to bring along a spare complete RF fender antenna assembly to donate to the cause. I remember you needed one to plug up your existing fender hole.

Don't want to jinx this but it is snowing on Donner Summit right now with chain controls. Hopefully it clears up for Rick this evening. :p3:

Don
Just got home from work Don, we got rained out, our haul trucks do not like the clay that we are working in with the rain, it turns our haul roads into slick owl S*IT.

Just looked at road conditions and Cal trans cameras, no chain control up as of wright now, so i am going to go out hook up the trailer and get ready to hit the road.

Great news Rick! Have a safe drive!

Thank you :shakehands:
that fender hole is the reason my passenger floorboard looks a little like swiss cheese... too much rain.
the build for the nomad isnt exactly what i had planned, but i still highly appreciate the help everyone has done for me.

if it wasn't for all the help i wouldn't have the nomad today.

I am walking out the door Don!!!!

may the force be with me....
Goodluck Rick :anim_25:
and thanks again for the help!
drive safely
(i love the Star wars refrance ;) )

Hey Garin, I hope this does not screw you up, I know you are off work all day, but I am going to go to the swap meet for a couple of hours, I need to kill sometime before I head back home and let chain control drop with the car trailer, I will call you when we are leaving the swap meet.

No problem, I don't work today so it's not a issue, just NO selling my nomad :sign0020:

Text me or call me to let me know when you are headed over.
Maybe I can get some extra sleep

LOL!!!!
yep i heard there were a ......few... people interested in the nomad :sign0020:
oh well... thats pretty much the history of the car... even in its not so "charming" exterior appearance plenty of people ask about it.

well i barely got any sleep but Rick and Jim came and went.
we got the nomad off the trailer, but then the second muffler decided to part ways with the nomad.
so now i really need to get some mufflers so i don't cause a racket (i dont want other people to complain about noise)

we had a great time chatting

and now the nomad has settled in

there are lots of people i have met because of the Nomad
i want to thank everyone who has been there for me in taking care of the car for me.
weather it was Rick and Jeff for aiding in the transport and storage, or donating a part, or simply cheering me and the nomad on and becoming my friend(s), thank you!
everyone here has become a valued member of my extended bowtie-trifive family :shakehands:

if it wasn't for this website to be able to make connections, things would be turned out very differently.

needless to say i am very happy to have the nomad back :D and i cant wait to start tinkering again
