Lefty Most of the time

Throw left, shoot left, shovel left, bat either way, Hammer either way but write right (they made me do it). I spin cast left but fly fish either way with equal accuracy. You should have seen the DI in basic when I picked up an M-14 on the range and started shooting left. After multiple swats on the steel pot with his paddle I learned to shoot right just long enough qualify "Sharpshooter" and get out of there.

I'm left-handed and so was my dad.
We used to talk about all the problems we had with right -handed stuff.
Like semi-automatic weapons, circular saws, even buttons on our shirts!

I'm a lefty also, and for those who played baseball back some years ago, do you remember how difficult it was to find a good lefty glove, or should I say a glove for the right hand?? they were all junk!! My grandpa used to take my left hand and stick it in my belt so I had to use my right hand!! Didn't work. But as they say, we lefties are using our right mind!!! :sign0020:

Lefties get ink on their hand when writing

Lefty, but not a very good one - just write and use a fork left handed. For some reason I'm more comfortable writing on vertical surfaces like a chalkboard right handed. I did have one teacher that tried to get me to switch, but it was spiral notebooks that nearly drove me to it.

I think I was supposed to be left handed. But when we were kids in school back in the early '50s, the teachers would walk around with a wooden yard stick and give us a good whack on the knuckles if they saw us writing left handed. Got tired of that and began writing right handed.

I posted that I am left handed but after reading other posts, I got to thinking about all the things I do with my right hand. Lonewolf's comment made me think about the computer mouse. I always use my right hand. I tried the left but it doesn't work. I also bowl with my right hand. When working on machinery I can wrench with both hands without either feeling uncomfortable. As a building contractor, I've used a lot of power tools. Miter and Table saws I use on either side depending on the situation. Handheld saws are left hand only. Writing, shooting, batting and expressing myself with hand gestures is all left hand dominate. Thanks guys for making me look hard at myself.
