You'll probably need the 1310/1350 conversion joint, depending on the pinion yoke on the Ford 9".

Spicer makes the majority of those joints, so I've been told. (of course, made overseas or across the border to Spicer specs).

Best no-fail bet is to load everything up and take it to a driveshaft shop, they can usually eyeball things and make a match.

OR, you can take some inside measurements of the bearing cup distances on the ford yoke, as well as the inside width of those bearing cups and try to match something up. this is what I did and it worked out good. I also measured the u-bolt hole distances and was able to make a match.

Sorry, I dont have those part numbers anymore, I looked but was unable to find them.

The stock 55-57 u-joint is a Spicer 1310 series.

Many Ford 9" axles, particularly from pickups, use a Spicer 1330 series. But a Ford 9" axle could have come with many different u-joints, including 1310 and 1350.

The part number for a hybrid 1310/1330 u-joint is either 5-134x or 5-150x. One of them has a grease fitting and the other doesn't. I think the 5-134 is the one without.

My u-joint book with u-joint dimensions is at work, I'll look it up tomorrow and get the dimensions if there is interest.

Notice there are dimensions in the Speedway link.

U Joint

I do not know if you have found your U Joint yet. I am running a TKO 500 chevy drive shaft and a ford 9" rear. the ford to chevy U joint that I use is from NAPA, #372. hope this helps!!

Welcome to trifive cali cruzer. Need a little more details to answer your question. Is it the stock rear and do you have the trans yoke? Do you know what length you need? You can have the shaft made by a driveshaft shop. I am not sure if there is one from another car that will just fit in without cutting or lengthening it.
