I was looking for something but I don't know what it would be called. Ididit has an electronic dimmer switch that consists of two relays that are triggered with some sort of electronic switch that is triggered with a momentary switch. This is it at Jegs https://www.jegs.com/i/Ididit/535/3...hDJARIsANFGOSsNda3KDC03aaU-9qF2kSeluJPRAdP98sHu9h_ZmSEdoZoiMc2lbBEaAkmoEALw_wcB

I already have the two high/low beam relays wired in, just need the trigger relay or whatever it is called to activate either the negative or positive trigger input on the headlight relay. In the below wiring diagram you can see there is just something that is triggered with a momentary switch that switches from the low to high relay, then the next push of the switch unlatches it and sends it back to the low relay. Anyone out there have any idea what that thing is called or where to get it. I am thinking of using it instead of the bulky under carpet foot switch.

I found these relays, which look like they do what I want. Any electronic specialists out there to look at it and see what you think? There is a wiring diagram that makes it look like I could wire it to 12V in, Ground, and a momentary switch that grounds the trigger terminal. The outputs would be the yellow wire from the head lamp switch, the N/C terminal to the 12V trigger to the low relay and the N/O terminal to the 12V trigger for the high relay. It is latching so each push of the momentary switch would change the output nd it would stay there until the next push. I would guess each time the power was cut the relay would revert to the low side if it were wired to ignition, or once it is latched, does it stay regardless of the relays power state?

That Ebay relay module should work if I'm understanding what your wanting to accomplish .
Connect your existing low beam relay trigger to the NC terminal and the high beam relay trigger to the NO terminal , If your existing relays should be wired for a +12 volt trigger. Connect the COM terminal to the Headlight switch terminal that feeds the dimmer switch .

Also Id purchase at least 1 module extra as a spare and they aren't expensive

Ok, I got this switch and it worked wonderfully. I ran ignition into the VCC, ground to the center terminal, and a momentary switch that grounds to switch from high to low. Other end of the switch, the high to the N/O, center is the feed from the headlight switch, and the N/C is the low beam. Those low/high wires trigger my headlight relays. Since I wired it to ignition, when the key is turned off, the switch reverts back to low beam if it was on high before the key was turned off. I am thinking of a hidden place for the momentary switch that is accessible. I was thinking of mounting it in the base of the cigarette lighter so if you tap the lighter, it will push the switch.

I found that the Raingear wiper switch has a terminal in the center that goes positive when you push in on the knob. I used that to power a mini relay and ran a ground circuit from the relay. Now when the lights are on, a push of the wiper knob switches from hi to low, etc...
