Hi folks,
I am working on the pulleys for a 350, with a short water pump. I am going to do power steering and air. I was looking at staying with a Saginaw pump, is there any benefit of one over the other...
Looks like more billet brackets for a Type II verses the Saginaw.

The benefit of the Type II pump is it has a remote reservoir. You can mount it almost anywhere.

I was looking at a 500 steering box, guess either pump will work. I spent a little time looking and seems the Type II has a reservoir attached as an option...
I guess the Saginaw has been around awhile, pretty bullet proof.
