none installed yet, only want lap belts. What are y'all using. I have a set in Juliano's cart but haven't pulled the trigger, they are the self retracting inertia locks. Looking at these also but don't know--lot less expensive but.......

I used the above plates plug welded to the floor with 1/2-20 nuts welded to them they are designed to not rip through the floor on impact like a large fender washer will. the plates you listed are garbage with crappy quality threads and too small a bolt size. I took a sign from gm's handbook and use 1/2" bolts.

I'm gonna at least get mine installed somehow. I ordered those so maybe I can do something with them---if not, I'll give em to you LOL. I doubt I'll do any fun runs. My old butt couldn't hit a light if I had to anymore LOL
I normally carry cash! LOL! I can do the light. Getting to the end above 60 MPH may be another thing! 😂

Bottom line: none of our fat guts will survive pulling the threads out of a grade 8 7/16-NF bolt.
you would with the chinesium they used in the kit linked I snapped one trying to tighten it. if I can do that, they will not hold up in a wreck.
you could, just leave on the second yellow
