I have looked at LMC and CCP kits for six lug drum to disc conversions. I also will go with a power brake booster. This is an expensive kit!
Are there better solutions?
What company has better pricing on these kits?
thanks,
Larry

I'm using that kit with the replacement frame mounted pedal they offer along with their single diaphragm booster and dual master combo. Total cost with new hard lines looks to be well under $500 and those front discs are nicely sized too.

the speedway motors kit comes with 5 lug rotors. I picked up two 5 lug gm wheels from a friend. the same tires will fit both rims. later I will get nice wheels, then I expect a problem getting 5 lug and 6 lug in the same wheel design.

the five lug speedway kit (it comes in a CPP box), the firewall mounted master cylinder kit (CPP also), and a 12 bolt from a 70 Chevy big body wagon. solved all the problems. and getting the parts from Speedway is usally faster and cheaper. Most are still CPP, but Speedway is stocking the stuff.

Well, power brakes were an option, on second generation Camaros, (front disc were STANDARD), Corvette's could be had without power and they had four wheel disc.
I think C10 pickup's (front disc/rear drum) could be had without power.
As long as you use the correct bore size on the master cylinder, (there are formulas on the internet), you might even ask yourself if power is even needed.

I bought the CPP master and booster kit a few years back also got the bracket kit. I went to one of the local parts houses and bought calipers and rotors for mid 70's Camaro, Monte Carlo etc. Worked just fine without spending too much.:tu
