Hey everyone!!! I apologize if the answer to my question is in here, and I am not finding it. So, long story long, I've got a newer fuel sending unit in my 55'. My new aftermarket gauges "Equus", have a fuel gauge that reads 0-90 Ohms. I have spent the last day or so stuck in google, and a few of the tri five forums. All of the information I am finding is from 10 years ago or more. I have looked all over, and can not find a 2" white gauge that reads 0-30 ohms, so that is out, as all of my other gauges are white. That leaves the sending unit. In 2022, there is still not a factory style sending unit for a tri five fuel tank that reads 0-90 ohms? I can't possibly be the only one that wants the stock tank, but wants to run aftermarket gauges, can I? Thanks for any help you all can provide!!

On my 1950 Chevy truck I just monitor the fuel level on my 0–30-ohm sender. with an ohmmeter. Very accurate and can calculate fuel usage down to tenths of a gallon. For example, 15 ohms is 1/2 tank, 7.5 ohms 1/4. etc. On my 17-gallon tank I just multiply the ohm reading .5666 and know exactly how much fuel I have. .5666 x 9.5 ohms = 5.38 gallons
