2023 Mid Engine Camaro

I read where the new 2023 Camaro will have a 4cyl or 6 cyl mid engine. I guess Chev figures a 8 cyl mid engined camaro would cut into sales of the mid engined Corvette. Any chance of anyone producing a "hybrid" mid engined V8 Camaro?

Well maybe they'll make the Camaro mid engine and it will be an electric SUV like Ford did? Really run the mark into the ground.

Most of the chit chat about a mid engine Camaro revolve around an April 1st Fools Joke that I saw posted to suck people into believing this was a possibility. I think it somehow got morphed into people forgetting the April Fools joke, and thinking this might be real.

i dont know.. but i think the camaro is played out already... i really dont care for it any more...

If they are really going to do that, they should let the Camaro name just fade. A new moniker might be dreamed up like ‘Sphere’ or ‘Orbitor’ or something along those lines. Only a 700hp mid engine V8 would deserve the Camaro name.

I still dread the time that GM idiots resurrect the Chevelle nsme. They did sorta try, but blew it in a huge way.

GM Marketing has zero imagination anymore; all they done for last many years is re-use the older 'famous' models, options, and names, which achieved their fame thru performance, and paste that name onto their new models along with 'graphics' and labeled interiors!
