The "FB" in your engine number stamp denotes a 1956 265 V8 engine with a 4BC and a Powerglide transmission. It looks like you have a Rochester 4BC. Other signs to look for are the casting marks on the front of the heads, dual exhaust, and a front to back fuel and brake line run on the outside of the cars frame.

Here is how the casting marks on the front of a 1956 4BC Powerpack head should look. See view "B".

"So mine has the "B" type head, fuel and brake line outside the frame on passenger side, dual exhaust, and VIN number starts with "V". Does that mean it came from the factory with a Power Pack setup? "

Yes, all of the indicators are there for it to be a factory Powerpack equipped car.
