couple questions:
i have a 55 four door with factory power drum brakes, are they worth keeping or should i upgrade to power disc. if i go to power disc is there any car out there that i can use the spindles and calipers ( scrap yard) or do i have to buy a conversion kit?

next question:
does anybody know if there is a 10/12 bolt that will bolt in and from what car is it from? i have built alot of cars but mostly fords so i am very mechanical just unfamiliar about this car. thanks

There are a few that work for the front 67-72 chevelle/skylark/tempest/ although it may be easier to just buy a kit with every thing you need. Not really any just bolt in rear ends other that 67-69 nova/camaro rear ends. the I thing I did was to use a 10 bolt from a 78-79 cadillac sevelle (60 inches flange to flange) not a bolt in either but it does have rear discs and with a spring pearch-relocation it worked very well. I added a posi and 3.42 gears. if you have apull-apart close you may be able o find some of these things good luck!
