Hello guys, I just picked up a new project. A 56 panel truck. I'm needing a door handle for both rear doors on the inside. The driver side door handle is by the latch and small not like a regular inside handle. Reason it's an odd handle is that it is on the edge of the door where the right side door latches at. I haven't seen any re-pops yet but I'm looking. Hey, if any of you all have an idea or know of any where these are sold I would appreciate a lead. If I can't find them or even used one's I'll just make them. I'm thinking the passenger side is like a regular handle. Thanks for any help.

The driver side inner handle is just a small lever that fits over the square end of the release mechanism. You'd have to scrounge around, but lots of different vehicles used similar handles. Station wagon tailgates would be a good start. You could also look at camper and RV doors for the same type of thing. As for the passenger side outer handle, you are correct. It's the same as the front door handles. Good luck! Dave

Thank you for the info I'll give this a shot.

I may have the odd left handle on my parts truck. I'll check tomorrow and let you know. The right is just the same as front door handle and I probably have a used one of those as well.
