If I get a 700R4 transmission, I assume when I shift into OverDrive, the 700R4 will engage all four available forward gears, allowing shifting up and down through all four. Is the same true if I shift fromPark into Drive (Third gear), or if I shift into Drive does that lock the transmission in third gear and not allow the transmission to shift up and down through 3rd, 2nd, and 1st?
