Looking for some direction on how to disassemble the '57 AC vents for refurb/chroming?

They only break down to two pieces.

Not sure if you are aware that the vents are reproduced :anim_25:

Mine were held together with an O ring and I used a mallet and a wooden dowel to drive them apart. Slippery stuff will help.
