I'm currently installing a BBC into my '55 & I am in the process of also installing a 4" recessed firewall from "Hot Rod Dynamics". I'm looking at installing the classic engine mounts (stock position) from Earle Williams. Does anyone know, through experience, if I will still run into problems (steering box, headers, oil pan, etc.) using the recessed firewall? Seems like there is alot of information about "firewall banging" and 3/4" or more engine mounts and their problems, but very little information on the stock position and a 4" recessed firewall. :confused0006: I'm also about to purchase the complete power steering upgrade kit from CPP, which comes with a CPP500 steering box. Thanks In Advance
