im starting my 56 belair resto mod i have 2 vettes 84 and 85 im doing suspension swap for sure i have a carburated crate 350 now was thinking going with one of the vette drivetrains one is crossfire and the other TBI the crossfire runs strong i crashed it myself havnt driven the TBI any help would be great

Yes TPI i know they were low HP in 84 85 would i be better sticking with my crate 350 n beefing it up its an lt1 block

The cross fire was dual throttle body injection units mounted opposite each other. It work much like a carb with fuel down the intake. The later ones were TPI with was a mulit port injection unit that worked pretty well and flows way better than the crossfire.

I would do the TPI. The cross fire would get a lot of looks and alot of neg. comments.
