I went to start my car and the key went as far as it would go but no start.The ignition switch in my steering column has been "messed with" in the past as witnessed by the stripped screw heads.I think that whomever performed the "quality" work on it before me just messed it up more &/or left a part or two off of it ..
How difficult is it to go from a column mounted ignition switch to a dash mounted switch? The column switch does not lock the steering wheel so that won't be a problem.
