Pic's are all same drive shaft but this will show you where to look on yours... no doubt there are two separate part #'s, one auto and one standard. :shakehands:

I'm pretty sure that number 3707069 is for the yoke on the shaft and not the complete shaft part number.

My 56 parts book has 2 part numbers listed. Both are group number 5.441. The first is listed as; 55 Pass (1st design) 3719428 @ 54-7/8". The second is listed as; 55-56 Pass (2nd design) 3722117 @ 55-1/4".

I see what you mean, so that # can be checked to determine it's original application .

Possibly, It may be the same yoke used on both shafts. I'm still looking for that listing.
