I coudnt figure out how to get to the ceiling height and be able to reach the ceiling to screw in the boards, so I came up with this . I put the drywall jack on the first row of the scaffolding and once everything is in place we climb up and fasten the board. It takes a bit to get the sheets up but 3 of us got this much done last night in a couple of hours

Thanks Don for the info will keep it in mind , maybe a yearly checkover of all the bolts would help . One weird thing happened was there was a piece of vapor barrier hanging in the track when the door was activated . All it did was stop the door right where it was . Ill think about welding it up though never can be too safe .

Chevynut , Im trying to build it as cheap as I can so I can afford one of your frames in the future. Plus there is always satisfaction in doing it all yourself as you well know

Don , Now you got me thinking about the doors, one more thing it does have is a cable tension monitor which would stop the motor as soon as the cable tension wasnt there anymore, it is just a switch that would close if the cable wasnt holding the switch open . It is above the door just below the cable drum
