HD's 57 Nomad project **UPDATES**
So here it is, long story short... I promise!
This car was in the back yard if a neighbor of ours for almost 20 years. My old man tried for years to buy it but no luck, he kept saying "ill work on it, ill work on it!" one day Al (my neighbor) came by and said I have some bad news and good news... Bad news is I have skin cancer and I need some $$$ for the treatments.... Good news is I'll sell you the car!! My dad said to name his price, even offered 10k at one time with no luck. Al said "I couldn't do that I only paid 3500 for it, gimme that and it's yours". My dad mr nice guy gave him 5k And hasn't seen the cars condition in almost 7-10 years.
So a few days later we went digging. My dads intentions at the time was to clean it up, sell it and make a couple bucks.
Well 6 months after we got the car Al died. He had a heart attack in his sleep.
So now our plans have changed, Al always wanted to see this thing turned into a hot rod.... And now he will! And it's getin done up right!!
There's a car in there....
Surprise!!
The ride home!
Every single piece If trim needed to complete the cars interior
And after a good scrub and rat abatement this is what we got.
Overall it is VERY clean! I thought for sure it was gonna be shot but we got lucky!
This is the first part that needs to be tackled
Coming soon is a complete AME chassis, big willwood brakes to stop the 18 & 20's, 450+hp 383 is on a stand waiting for a 4l65e.
And so it begins!!! Lemme know what ya think! Comments, questions, suggestions are welcome!!
