I used the stencil kit also. Interestingly, the instructions called to use testers model spray paint for the lettering.

I can’t remember where I got my stencil, but it was pretty thick. the adhesive may have been a bit to strong. i used several light coats, but the paint dried to fast and started to lift a bit on some of the edges When I pulled the stencil. After a little touch up by hand, looks pretty decent.
