We saw the movie "Hidden Figures" last night, about the role of several black women in the early 60's employed by NASA to perform mathematical computations relative for the space program.
Aside from being a fairly interesting movie, there were many shots of late 50's and early 60's cars. Filmed in Georgia, the producers must have scoured the state to find around 100 vintage cars, including at least 25 tri fives.
The car driven by the main characters was a '57 four door Bel Air. It was funny in that all of the interior shots of the car being driven on the road showed that the gearshift was in park!
Perhaps some members here had their cars featured.
