Steve, I do love those Poncho valve covers! Where did you source them from, and were there any problems making them fit?

Just FYI they sale adapters to install just about any old school covers onto an ls engine. This is one from jegs for small block but they have pony adapters also and big block chebys

That's interesting Rocky... when I was in the PPG store the other day, getting some recommendations (and buying the recommendations), another customer came in.. heard my questions.. and handed me his business card.. saying.. "forget paint, let me do it for you!"... The card was a 'hydrographics company' card...

An engine that appeared to be made from carbon fiber would be a 'kick'.. but I can't afford to do mine that way!

How bout just intake and coil covers? But I know your goal is a old school look so carry on with the orange paint Like I'm doing!!!
