My son is. 10 % of known humans are.Lefty`s are less susceptible to strokes but much more susceptible to alcoholism according to scientists and doctors.

Im one also. Only one in my family. And most things are designed for right handed folks. I once took a job operating a backhoe for a contractor. He had a sub on the railroad. The railroad men where getting aggravated with me as I was digging out a crossing. Then I realized I was naturally as I lifted out the crossing boards and ties ( The backhoe had a thumb attachment) I swung everything to the left and that was irritating them. So I just reversed my natural instinct and everything worked out. Now guns are not a problem as Im right eye dominate. My wife is right handed and left eye dominate looks goofy to see her shoot a rifle. She still hunts squirrel with a 22. head shots most times. I nail stuff to the ground with a 12 guage.

Im one. I shoot a rifle lefty and pistol righty only. I write, use a circular saw, impact gun lefty and pretty much everything else righty.

I am, kind of..
I eat, shave, and brush my teeth left handed, write right handed, and can use tools in either hand ( pliers, screw drivers, drills, saws, you name it). That tool usage one sure comes in handy working on cars!! :shakehands: :flag6:

If my memory is correct, the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body. The right side of the brain controls the left side of the body. Does this mean that only left handed people are in their right mind?

Inquiring minds want to know. (I'm a righty).

I'm a lefty, four out of five of us were left handed,Dad and Mom were both right handed and yes our brain is on the right side instead of the wrong side but I am ambidextrious, bat right handed, chop wood right handed, and shoot a rifle right hand but write left handed..It is a right handed world but it is what it is....

Left handed but basically ambidextrous. Shooting, swinging a bat, golf club or a hockey stick, and throwing a ball are easier/more natural with my right. Tool usage could go either way. I can write with either hand but both are mostly illegible.

I consider myself as a lefty as I write left handed. But, I can not hit or throw a baseball as a lefty. Natural inclination with a wrench or screwdriver is righty but can go either way. I could not hammer a nail right handed to save my life. The list could go on.

There is a word for doing something left and others right but I can not remeber it. It is not ambidextrous as that means being able to do all things with both hands equally well.

lefty

I,m left handed due to a childhood accident, tried to figure out what made the washing machine wringer work ( 3 yrs old),used to misdial pay phones all the time, worked as a heavy equip maintenance mech. always has to think which way to turn wrenches! Dick

Every time I get on the computer after my wife has been on it. I have to move the mouse to the left side. One advantage when driving a rail road spike a pair of left and right handed guys can both get in time with their strokes and do the gandy dance really well.

ME!!! I'm a lefty and darn proud of it, my sister is a severe lefty! I eat, mouse, write, wrench lefty but most else I use the bad hand!!! :sign0020: My lefty grama had a whole section in her hobby store (The original Hobby Lobby in Brownsburg Indiana) for lefties. She was the original Ned Flanders.:sign0020:

I'm a rightey but I'd give my left arm to be ambidextrious.

Was born lefty Switched they made me do it. Mike
